Option #1
Take the NYS Thruway to exit 28
Pay the toll and follow signs for State Rt. 30a North to Johnstown
Make a left hand turn onto 29 West
Follow the signs for 29 West through the city of Johnstown
Approximately 7 or 8 miles outside of the city limits
Make a Right hand turn onto State Rt. 10a
Watch for signs and make a Right hand turn onto State Rt. 10
State Rt. 10 will bring you right into Caroga Lake

Take the NYS Thruway to exit 28
Pay the toll and follow signs for State Rt. 30a North to City of Gloversville
Make a left hand turn onto State Rt. 29a
Follow State Rt. 29a and it will bring you right into Caroga Lake
